Panthers sign few players to practice squad

Goings has been an important part of the Panthers for a long time...the guy is great on special teams and can step in and fill in the RB/FB spots adequately if somebody goes down (I'm not saying he's going to be able to duplicate the performance of Stewart or Williams but he'll manage). Remember when Foster and Davis got injured?

That was before his concussions. At the time our offensive line was clicking. Plus Goings still had some burst then. That would have made a great playoff team.

Given the botched special teams assignments and runs for losses we’ve seen from Goings in the few plays he’s seen the field, I don’t see how you can justify his roster space another year.

Not the practice squad. "Futures" contracts start next season. A couple of guys who were on this year's PS are on that list.

I love Goings. He's the epitome of what we want from this team. Is he getting too old to continue? Maybe. I still love the guy, eyebrowless and all...

Yeah goings should be gone and there are a few guys on there i hope we can develop them in to at least back ups and special team starters. Also has anyone else notice that no one is complaining about ST coach Crossman or getting him fired?
