Poopin' Question

If you go into a stall to do some poopin, is it ok to pick up a newspaper or magazine someone left behind? Or is that gross??? Its not like you aren't going to wash your hands after anyway?!?! (Well most of us will wash teh hands!)

never. not that they read after wiping, but they may have and then i'm putting their fecal germs on my ass. plus their on the floor most of the time which i don't want to pick anything up off of. also, i don't spend anymore time than necessary on the can. usually a couple minutes at most.

Assuming this was a newspaper on the floor...I would give the reading material a visual inspection before touching. A smell test would help too. If it checks out, go for it. 100% of everything that has been on a public bathroom floor has poop on it, just wash your hands afterward (common sense). Already got poop all over your ass, hands are more durable anyway?

After my morning poop in the office pooper, I always leave my paper behind for the next soldier. 99.9% of the time when I come back in later in the day for a piss, the paper has been moved or obviously read by numerous poopers. I however, will not touch it.

Also depends on the type of magazine. If it's a Sports Illustrated maybe, if it's something like a Playboy, then fug no.

I wouldn't touch anything I didn't bring into that stall myself. Poopin' habits can be pretty dirty, and you just never know what might end up on you.

My strategy is just to position/move the paper/magazine around with my shoes without actually touching it. Normally one page of a newspaper has enough words to get me through a deuce.

We use to always put the newspaper/mag through the handicap railing. Everyone read them.
