We beat em without Otah last time. But it is true a lot of the team had probably given up on the season. The defense was really unhappy with their co-ordinater.

Hell we didn't have Gross either.

Are you talking about the Giants had given up? Remember, that game was VERY important for the Giants and their playoff hopes. Their season was not over at that point.

I can understand how Hurney/Fox knew they had to win in 2008 and wanted the O Line to be solid. But sometimes I wonder if giving what we did for Otah was a good move.

yes, and iirc, he also played rt against the vikings and saints too.

i don't know what all the hooplah is about, schwartz is more than capable of holding down the tackle spot.

i believe it was on this forum that i predicted schwartz would replace gross when his time is up.

All the "hooplah" is about the fact that our O-line has sucked dick all preseason and we were all hoping it would get a boost with Otah back in the lineup.

the only preseason game that the Panthers game planned for was game 3.. and the O-line gave up a whooping... ONE sack.. so tell me again how bad the O-line has sucked

I'm not as worried as most folks seem to be.. The Dude played well against Allen last year, held up his own against the Giants, and has played extremely well in gametime situations. Magz will have our OLine squared away by this Sunday.. I have faith in the guy.
