Otah may be MIA week 1

The Charlotte Observer's Darin Gantt believes that the chances of RT Jeff Otah (knee scope) playing in Week 1 are "getting slim."

Gantt speculates that Geoff Schwartz will be forced to start at right tackle for "a week or two" to open the season, as Otah hasn't even been near the practice field in weeks. It's a big concern for Matt Moore and company, as the untested Schwartz would square off with Giants LE Justin Tuck in Week 1.

You know he did start 3 games at RT last year and did pretty good, the problem this year seems to be on the left side.

What about Duke at RG and Mackenzy at RT. I do think Geoff is better than Duke but it's just a thought.

Well that sucks...

Our running game goes from the best in the league to very good but much less explosive without Otah.

Deangelo is going to have to really see the hole on the right side because its not going to be nearly as big as it normally is.

We beat em without Otah last time. But it is true a lot of the team had probably given up on the season. The defense was really unhappy with their co-ordinater.

Hell we didn't have Gross either.
