I agree. Smith may be disappointed. But last time I checked Smitty was the only WR worth a damn........and rookies like Armanti Edwards have basically said flat out he is getting no help from Steve. Jarrett, Moore, and the rookies are helping him. If Smith likes you, then he might help you. If Smith is indifferent I think he expects people to figure it out on there own.

Ive definitely seen him working with Kenny Moore on the sidelines.

When I was waiting tables, they came in and ate together. At first they were sitting opposite of each other in the booth...then they sat on the same side of the booth hahaha it was pretty funny.

either way, they had to at some point be talking about football.

i dont know if smitty has to team them anything....just having him on the field will make all the young WR life a hell of alot easier.....all we really need them to do is beat one on one coverage.

sure he does, that is what you want your good vets to do with your new talent. Look at Stewart/DeAngelo. Smitty is too busy being angry and motivating himself to care, he has already made it known imo if you are a 2-3 round draft pick that he ain't gonna help.

that vets helping out the rookies stuff is over blown....all these guys are pros and all smith as to do is lead by example....if you watch what smith does and work like he works then every thing else will fall in to place

I know he helps K. Moore and Charly Martin, now I didn't make it to TC this year but last year when I was there he was working with all the receivers after practice. He can give advice but he is not a coach so we shouldn't expect him to be, if the guys come to him for help or advice I am sure he would gladly help them because it will help him if they could "get it".

i agree with smith. anyone who has played team or sandlot sports, nothing is worse than hearing some guy run his mouth about how great he is, then you are on his team and he absolutely sucks.

if these guys are seriously boasting on the sideline and the practice field, i for one can only hope steve smith gets into another fight with a teammate

I would rather Steve Smith just worry about getting himself ready to play, and let the coaches worry about getting those rookies ready to play, because if he answers a WR's question anything like the answers reporters and radio show hosts' questions, it will just confuse the hell out of them.
