Well D-Will didn't look good in the last preseason game so definitely cut him despite everything he has done in actual games. Then start J-Stew oh wait he hasn't even played this season so he's garbage..so Sutton then. Oh wait that's not gonna work cause he was't that great this preseason either Not averageing great yards and a fumble..........goodbye. So start Goodson. Well his average in the preseason hasn't been anything to write home about so...... Oh good lord please provide us with an unproven 2nd round rookie RB or else we are soooooooooooooooooo screwed. Preferably one that went to a big name college and didn't win a lot of games but had a rich dady to get him a RB coach so that we can say he has a good pedigree. Yeah that will make it all better.

Again I like Clausen for the future but this sh*t is out of hand. Starting to look like an Eagles message board.

START KOLB...oh wait!

Not only are you wrong (Goodson has the best average carry of any RB on the roster for the preseason), but if you're talking about my comments about the running game, they are directed NOT at the RB but the O-line.

I still think it is far too early to pencil this defense down as a powerhouse. This is a passing league now and we have yet to see this group of guys go up against teams that like to spread it out and attack defenses. All teams we face in the preseason attack defenses the exact same way.

Agree

also, I don't see how QB is a weakness. We have one NFL WR on this team and he hasn't played. Moore hasn't looked super sharp but it is preseason and he is being given a rotation of sub par WRs every couple of downs.

Unless he uses tunnel vision and focuses on Smitty exclusively he will have the same rotation of crapy recievers as he does now

cut Jarrett? So cut the only guy who consistantly shows he can make catches? What message does that send? We know one thing Jarrett doesn't do....drop those big 3rd down balls like LaFell did. After 3 preseason games Jarrett is the only one who looks like he is ready to be on the field week 1. Jarrett should have had an easy 40+ yard score Saturday night....instead of acknowledging what he did as a positive people still try to find ways to knock him.

Jarret has the least amount of reception yards/rec out of ALL the WR in camp...he catches everything alright, everything that is 5 yards or less!

He had a big 20 yarder for a 1st on 3rd down that was called back by a bogus call on Gross. But in terms of evaluating Jarrett he made the play. The ball last game Moore missed him on would have been for 40+......and we all know Jarrett would have grabbed it with a decent throw. So he is doing better going downfield than the stat sheet might show imo.

Oh yeah remember when LaFell caught that pass short of the sticks and made a nice move for the first, that poo was awesome right. And remember when Jarrett ran that three yard route on 3rd down and got tackled where he caught it, that poo was not so awesome right. See how you focused on LaFell's negative and Jarrett's semi-positive, I did the same thing but reverse...see how that works?

Well he wasn't drafted in the second round so I still don't think he can ever be very good. You have to be drafted in at least the second round to make it in the NFL. I mean honestly where is his pedigree? He did have lots of hype behind him coming out of college though so he may be a decent back up. Maybe if we could get a close up of him looking around the field on ESPN; thats the only way to be sure.

LaFell should be a better NFL WR than Jarrett. LaFell is a rookie and it shows....and his hands need work. Heading into week 1 Jarrett is the only one who looks ready for consistant work, not that I want him to.

No, our 1st team (note, this means D.Will) run game is not really firing on all cylinders. His career average is 5.1 yards a carry. He's 3.6 right now. This indicates some blocking problems, which is O-line.

Maybe they are just rusty... or maybe Davidson is holding his cards to the chest. IDK, but this isn't 1st team production that we need.

thats after the Titans game. his average going in was alot higher, bc he didn't have any problems the first two games. we are fine in department

Yes LaFell does need some work on his hands. Jarrett is consistant when it comes to catching the ball. He is also consistantly unable to get open, if he starts and we try to consistantly throw the ball to a covered reciever then we will consistantly get picked. Then we will consistantly lose games and it will consistantly suck ass.

he has gotten open in the preseason. On short balls and deeper ones. I am not praising the kid but he has been the most consistant across the board in preseason. The kid is huge, he can't help help that aids in him looking even slower than he really is. Once he finally gets off the line he looks solid. Sadly, no other WR has looked better overall. Who do you think has overall put in a better preseason.
