I don't even know if Kenny Moore will make the team, to be honest.

I think our future looks bright at receiver. I honestly think we will see some major improvement out of Jarrett this year, and LaFell can only get better.

I hope they can afford to keep Gettis...

According to the link,

Dwayne Jarrett - 5 receptions 29 yards 5.8 avg per rec. 8 yds longest 0 TD, in my opinion he lacks the speed and has trouble getting open. I think he's history.

BTW...check out Jason Bakers stats, now that guy has helped us in the field position game in the preseason and that has helped our defense a lot.

As far as AE, they will have a "wildcat" package for him but I don't see him getting WR reps, until he gets more practice at that position.

I think Moore should make it. To be honest, I think Jarrett should be cut. Yes, he is very sure-handed, but like weyco2000 pointed out, he's had trouble with separation. He's great for short-yardage gains and probably would be a nice redzone option, but I don't want to keep him around solely for that reason when there are several other young promising guys on the bubble (Moore, Guy, etc.).

well he was targeted 13 times and caught 7. all drops were from the first game. sounds like a rookie.

positive side though is that he is clearly getting open more often than the other recievers which is amazing given everyone has been killing on his route running and lack of seperation.

haters.

The fact that he's progressing fine for a rookie WR doesn't matter because we gave up a 2nd round pick. It also doesn't matter that he's actually a third round pick or that he's doing a position switch. He would have been available in the 6th (check my mock, yo) and will always suck because we could have grabbed [iNSERT FAVORITE WR PROSPECT HERE] instead.

He's had a better preseason than Gilyard at WR, by the way.

Unless it's a long snap to a punter, then he doesn't look real comfortable at all... just sayin'...

Who has looked comfortable returning punts? Guy was shakey and so was Captain. They looked better than Armanti but once he settles in at reciever I think they will give him some more reps at returner.

Witherspoon looked pretty comfortable if you ask me....
