Donte Stallworth is going to be out for likely eight weeks in Baltimore. The Ravens had two decent guys potentially on the bubble in Mark Clayton and Demetrius Williams. This injury may affect their status.

At this point, the only bubble receiver I might be interested in would be Brandon Stokley (and he's hurt right now).

I'm more interested in some Uglies that may need a new home, especially ones that don't false start as though they've just heard a dinner bell

Honstly the Panther will not be doing much looking on the Wavier wire until about time for the season to begin. And also theres not going to be that many big names cut on the first go around unless they are injuried. Panthers Team is pretty much set for the Regular season aside from the Wr spot besides steve smith. Other then that the panthers are ready to go.

I'm willing to keep our rookie WR's. I believe LaFell, Gettis, and Edwards all have the potential to be really good ones. I was especially impressed by the ability of Gettis to take big hits and hang on to the ball last night, and he seemed to get better seperation than anybody who wasn't a TE. There will be growing pains with young guys, but I love the potential of those three more than I like signing an old WR who was cut.

I like our rookie WR's. You can't expect them to be superstars right off the bat, but I can definitely see that the potential is there for LaFell, Edwards and Gettis. I say let em learn and grow as Panthers.

There were a few guys I thought would be worth a look, primarily Deion branch, maybe Michael Clayton (maybe).

The vast majority of guys that would be worth a shot though won't be cut in this round.
