I bet not , yes most of the responsibility falls on the returner but if the coaches calculation is off it does make a huge difference , I played punt return I know . If it was that much on the player what would you need a punt return coach for ? And you right you don't have to waste your time telling Mr nothing because you probably didn't know and now days you can Google anything and it can make you look like you invented the game . Just sounds like a bunch of haters in here to me , the 37 yard kick return and the 20 yard punt that was called back because of a block in the back didn't mean nothing ? On top of this was his first game . Goodson has been there .

Firstly, If the coach is messing up his "calculations" which are simply (total punt yards) / (punt attempts) than he might be legally retarded.

Secondly, what in the holy hell did you try and say there with that last (I'm gonna say sentence here because I don't know how else to describe it) sentence.

What's funny about all of this is that no one's said anything remotely bad about Guy -- just that we think Goodson's a better fit right now and that Guy might not make the squad. I don't think that's hard to believe given our wide receiver corp and the fact that Guy reinjured his hamstring.

No one is talking trash about Guy. Pretty much all anyone has heard or said has been reasonably positive, given he's an undersized UDFA who's been injured most of pre-season.

I actually went back and reread the entire thread to see who was "hating on" Guy, and could find nothing save for a few people saying he hadn't locked down the spot and that Goodson looked better at returning.

If you'd be so kind to point out exactly what was said that lead you to think someone was hating on Guy, I'd love to see it.

Lastly, I want to see Guy make this squad. I like what I saw in him. But, given his size and injuries in training camp, this is an uphill battle at best.
