why is it that we NEVER go for the jugular after we get a big turn-over, like last night on the punt return fumble??? run it up the gut, incomplete, 4 yd run then punt........what a wasted opportunity. the crowd is fired up, momentum could shift in a big,big way,etc,etc.

just wondering...........

YES! Lets show the rest of the league all of the offensive plays we have drawn up at key times in a game in the preseason!

I don't think it's giving away the playbook to go for it on fourth and short in the red zone. Especially with the way the defense was playing.

What would you like them to do? What if the incomplete pass would've turned out to be a big play? Would you still be complaining? What if they busted a run for 50 yards? Just because it didn't work out does not mean they did not try.

I didn't realize we drew up plays, the offense looks like they just meander around and hope something happens.

Seriously though I don't think we are surprising anyone with what we are doing, even in the regular season.

Exactly.The plays and schemes in preseason are entirely different than they will be when regular season starts.

I will disagree there. Sure, there will be tweaks to it but that was the exact same poo Davidson has been running the past two years last night. Exact same formations and plays used all last year.

only think different is Smitty will be out there.
