Pretty sad when some people say our #2 receiver is the same guy others say won't make the team.

I never said it was a good thing.

Jarrett is a "veteran", he is still young, and he has shown as much as the other WR's (they've all shown little to nothing) this pre-season.

My guess they try to practice squad Guy, put Gettis on IR with mysterious injury and Wright makes the team.

Dexter Jackson has absolutely no shot at this point.

And are you serious cut Brayton over an unproven rookie? Brayton looked really good against Baltimores first line o-line before he twisted his ankle. It would be an awful decision to cut our one veteran on the d-line even if he isn't starting.

If he's healthy, Wright makes the team at least as a special teams ace a la Karl Hankton - period. They were probably playing him last night to see if he can take someone else's #4 WR spot in addition to playing ST. If he is hurt, my guess would be that Kenny Moore takes his spot.

And no, I don't think Brayton will be cut. I simply said that if the staff is that confident in what they've seen without him that they, given their other cuts this offseason, I wouldn't be shocked if they decide to go with the other guys. Given that they weren't afraid to let him test FA, there was always the chance they wouldn't have him on the roster anyway, and that was before these games were played.

I wasnt very impressed with Trent Guy. He was struggling with judging the punts so he just decided not to catch them...which I guess is better than trying to catch them and not succeeding. He's definately got Steve Smith on his side. He's really small looking out there. I was scared for him
