I don't know why everyone was high on Ivy anyway. He got pushed around, and only made tackles after the play had gained some decent yardage. He showed no playmaking ability and questionable instincts. In the short time that Nic Harris has been here, he has easily outplayed him.
because his name was easy to spell?

i mean its not any more unlikely than a guy who will never play QB either
i mean that if he is considered the emergency QB taking the 46th spot he will never be allowed to be used the way the panthers intend him to be used = not going to happen. the moment that 46th player/emergency QB hits the field you aren't allowed any other QBs to come out. he has to stay. they aren't going to keep him around just for that.

Exactly XClown...Ivy did not impress me all that much this preseason and must have had the same effect on the coaching staff.Therefore,he wound up getting cut.....

Well assuming he makes the active 53 roster which he should all im saying is .. His versatility saves us an extra roster spot we dont have to spend on a guy who will probably be broken in half by the first blitzer

I understand what you;re trying to say but he's only a project receiver this year anyway .. he hasn't earned a starting spot anywhere special teams nor slot
