You should write to the guys playing and coaching for a paycheck and explain that to them. I’m sure they will understand the rationale. -
He didn’t move the goal posts. You need to play multiple RBs in every single game you play. It’s not a backup in reality, it’s part of a RB committee. You need that in the NFL. -

If you drafting for depth with a limited roster your GM is not doing something right. We need starters on defense multiple. Drafting for backups is DUMB! You only do that when you have a stacked roster. We aren't the Eagles in terms of talent.
