We hosed the Bears when we got him in his prime

Panthers traded a 5th round pick to the Bears the first time around. We used that pick to draft Zackary Bowman who is now our starting Left Cornerback and very much about to break loose. I don't see how either team got hosed in the deal, certainly not the Bears.

and then hosed them again when we traded him back after he's lost his ability to play

Panthers now have Jamar Williams. How has he done so far? I haven't heard much...

We got a 3rd round pick for Peppers. Remember what New England got for their 3rd round pick in this years draft?

Knowing we had that extra 3rd round pick next year was probably a big reason the team took a flyer on AE this year.

  I can answer this in detail. For player interviews, players are given a short playbook to memorize and prepare with. Has details on line shifts, hot routes, reading defenses to know where the ball should go or if the play should be checked. One interview he was very unprepared for and bombed his white board based on said playbook. And when he was corrected on said whiteboard, he scoffed at the head coach running the interview. That was with the giants. Another interview, he acted like he didn't want to be there and legit answered his phone during the interview. The acting like he didn't want to be there was a prevailing detail most teams gave about him. There's some more that's worse but I don't know if it's believable or not.
