Analysis: Preseason Game 3

Mr. Scot,

What good things did Godfrey show tonight? I keep reading he is coming along but it's tough to tell what that means with a safety.

How was the trio of Brown, Hardy, Norwood? I know the defense played lights out were these guys a big part of that?

How was Clausen tonight?

Thanks much, its tough never being able to watch games and draw conclusions for myself.

Meeks has always been a good coach, but sooner or later in the NFL you have to decide where your money is going. Offense or Defense/ Run or Pass/ Field position or clock management. It's not as cut and dry as that anytime players are concerned, but we are lucky to have gotten Meeks when his and Trgovic's contract were up.

Godfrey did well in coverage and had a really nice sack on a safety blitz. Truthfully, the pass rush is making it a lot easier for the secondary.

Everette Brown finally seems to be getting there rather than just getting "near misses".

Greg Hardy can be found in various threads around the board, and deservedly so.

Didn't see Norwood tonight, but I'll review the game again. He's not listed in the stats.

This being preseason three, Clausen only played in mop-up time. hard to tell much about him given that, for the most part, everyone around him was screwing up.
