Best thing about tonight's game...

TRENT GUY!!! He's our solution on punt return and is our next Smitty type of player. Armani may turn into a good receiver and wildcat option. They should work on those skills with him and go with Guy on PR. He's electric.

Meh I think Witherspoon is better....

LOL that ball was overthrown terribly....Moore knew it' date=' Fox knew it, the announcers knew it the only people who don't seem to know it are the people on this forum who cant give the kid a break and actually congratulate him for beating his man easily....[/quote']

Jarrett was also open, down the middle, later on a red zone play.... the pass from Moore was just batted down. I do however think Jarret is slow. That was the one thing I noticed tonight watching him get off the ball. On the other hand he did get open at times, is big, has good hands, can take a lick and hold on to the ball - so maybe he is going to be a guy with little or no speed but can be productive.

Jarrett should make this team. I like him as part of the group.

Oh I know he's slow, he's never been a burner. However that doesn't excuse an NFL QB from overthrowing a WIDE OPEN receiver....

I think the barnidge ball was just overthrown...not a floater...

I guess we'll agree to disagree on the Jarrett pass. It would've been catchable to someone with some speed.

I think its sad Moore only had a couple bad passes and some people (not saying you) are calling him mediocre or average at best already and its only preseason. No QB is going to be perfect every single play of the game. I'd take a couple overthrows over a turnover machine any day of the week.

I think he has been playing mediocre all preseason. Maybe he'll go back to his old ways once Smitty is back but the offense looks feeble.

That pass was 100% Moore's fault. Jarrett could have been walking to the endzone it's Moore's job to get him the ball. It's not a matter of him being slow. I really have not enjoyed watching Jarrett suck for 4 years but that was not his fault.

Also, the least of Jarrett's problems is speed. He's a young fellow with a long stride, he's fast enough. It's all the other things he does wrong.

Moore needs to account for Jarrett though.. When you throw to a Tight End, you account for their speed, when you throw to a quick receiver, you account for their speed. Slow as molasses and you beat your man, you're wide open for a td, you have to hit that. He made some questionable decisions today, and missed some open guys. I know he'll clean it up during the regular season, especially with gameplanning and better playcalling which isn't intended to just be there to see what people can do.

Moore has not looked great but he has not looked horrible ether. He is just as good as when Jake took over. I think he will get better as the year progresses. Then we prob will let him walk and start all over again.
