Best thing about tonight's game...

I think Rosario is good enough as a blocker that he should be the one starting. He stretches the field more and seems to be a favorite target of Moore.

Rosario's problem is inconsistency. He'll make a good play, but he'll back it up with a completely boneheaded play. He is the Delhomme of Tight Ends.

LOL that ball was overthrown terribly....Moore knew it' date=' Fox knew it, the announcers knew it the only people who don't seem to know it are the people on this forum who cant give the kid a break and actually congratulate him for beating his man easily....[/quote']

It wasn't as overthrown as you make it out to be. Like I said, throw a ball like that to a faster WR and its a sure TD. I give credit that DJ got behind his man but he isn't known for his speed.

Only "floater" I saw was the one to Dwayne "slow as molasses" Jarrett that would've been a TD if it were K.Moore or Smith. And that ball didnt even float. When I think of floaters, I think of balls that stay in the air for a long time kinda like a pooch punt or Delhomme pass that is ready to be intercepted.

he floated about 3 balls that i know of maybe more.

jarrett, barnidge, and lafell. LaFell should have caught it but it would have been a hell of a lot easier if Moore put it lower.

It doesn't matter how slow Jarrett is, he could be slower than molasses. Moore totally messed that up.

No he's not and Moore knows that, Moore has worked with him long enough to know how fast he is. As a QB it's your job to know where you need to put the ball that each WR can get to it, every WR isn't the same speed. That play (or lack there of) is completely on Moore imo, D.J. did his job Moore didn't do his well enough....

Moore needs to account for Jarrett though.. When you throw to a Tight End, you account for their speed, when you throw to a quick receiver, you account for their speed. Slow as molasses and you beat your man, you're wide open for a td, you have to hit that. He made some questionable decisions today, and missed some open guys. I know he'll clean it up during the regular season, especially with gameplanning and better playcalling which isn't intended to just be there to see what people can do.

I think the barnidge ball was just overthrown...not a floater...

I guess we'll agree to disagree on the Jarrett pass. It would've been catchable to someone with some speed.

I think its sad Moore only had a couple bad passes and some people (not saying you) are calling him mediocre or average at best already and its only preseason. No QB is going to be perfect every single play of the game. I'd take a couple overthrows over a turnover machine any day of the week.

Moore didn't do anything stupid but wow he was quite mediocre and he still floats balls just as much as he used to.

After having a QB that gifted the ball to the other team last year, i can't complain how shitty Moore is at moving the chains as long as he isnt giving the defense the ball and the offense a short field.
