I know it's preseason, but is our defense really this good?

only thing that stinks about preseason is all 4 teams we face are pretty similar. Running teams for the most part. Would have been nice to face at least one team that likes to spread defenses out.

our D may just be this good. i remember near the end of last season, the meek's defense really started coming together. we're picking up right where we left off last season if you ask me.

To answer the question directly, yes, they're that good.

You can see the leadership of Beason, the growth of Godfrey, Johnson, Conner and Anderson. The young guys and the overall attitude and hunger is pretty evident.

Love how the defense swarms to the ball on each play. Very active and destructive.

You can tell they are that good. When the 2nd stringers come in for the secondary the passing game opens up even against backup QB's (granted, one is Collins, but still).
