I worry alot that Moore played against teams already in the "shut down" mode last year. I just don't think he's anything more than a back up to a competent NFL QB. I hope I'm wrong and we win 10-11 games.

Other than Saints what team was in shutdown mode?

Considering both our top 2 qbs haven't been able to get anything going.. I'd take anything they do with a grain of salt. oline has looked worse than poo sometimes.. receivers not being able to catch balls, fumbles in the redzone, you name it, we've seem to have faced it in the redzone. All this without Much play from Double Trouble. We're getting a lot of work on the passing game. hell moore threw over 30 times in a PRESEASON game. that should tell you how much we're focusing on it.

Something tells me, because of all the offensive turnover and the new receivers, Davidson is testing out the same plays with different receivers to see what he has to work with.
