Trust me, the passing game will sharpen up when MM has the same WR's in there on every down. Right now, they're rotating those WR's in and out like crazy, because they're trying to see who can play.

BTW, I'll be mad if they cut David Gettis. That kid has some potential, and things picked up when he finally got in the game.

Matt started off slow, but played somewhat better as the game went along. They finally moved the ball some. About what I expected tonight.

And we finally won a preseason game tonight. First one in two years.

I found the playcalling to be better last in teh 2nd quarter and into the 3rd quarter. At that time, the offense started moving the ball.

should have easily had 3 TD's last night. Any WR than Jarrett (he is just to slow) and the long pass was a TD....stopped short at the one on the running play...and the play where Wright got blown up and fumbled on the 10. Two of those three don't happen, and we win that game 26-7 and the world would be fine today.

just saying.... seems to be overthrowing a lot of balls, not finding open receivers, poor 3rd down percentage. seems many are desperate to annoint him and want to downplay the obvious mediocre play and act like he's lighting things up because we've had a few drives extended due to defensive penalties, amazing one handed catches of passes thrown into the dirt and screen dump offs that go for long gains. he hasn't found the end zone yet.

I agree with your first couple of points. But Moore is a game manager like Jake is. He needs to get more accurate and just deliver the ball in the right spots.

Yeah in the hurry up offense. He was worse than better. Im not worried right now because atleast he isnt turning the ball over. But he needs to improve for us to have a chance at the playoffs. But no way do I want to see Clausen on the field this year. Let him learn behind Moore and get better. The NFL is riddle with rookie QB's who careers where screwed by starting in their rookie year.

I thought he had good anticipation in regards to his receivers on a few pass plays.

Jake wasn't a game manger, he was a gunslinger without the typical arm strength.

Moore has to do better, but I'm not that worried about him. Way more worried about the WRs and O-line.
