I don't really think 2nd guessing the FO is in order. Maybe 5% of all panthers fans and 1% of all huddlers wanted him to stay. It doesn't matter how well he does in Cleveland, he was broken here as evidenced by his press conference. Nobody blubbers that hard out of happiness. The seperation was necessary, he needed a fresh start where he could shake his Smitty addiction.
