I talked to Tom Sorensen today. (e-mail)

He stated that Turgo is just an extention of John Fox on defense, and that Fox puts way more work into the defense than offense.

pretty much said that Fox was under prepared for the game.

Not that we didnt know it already, but I wonder the chances of Fox getting his head out of his own ass?

Wow.

How does one blame Turgo for this crap then?

Now DeAngelo Williams has completely disappeared from the offense.

I don't think the coaching staff realize he is then 2nd biggest playmaker on the team.

Every first down is a pass play.

That was something I noticed in other games this year as well. For some reason, the coaches like to take Williams out for stretches at a time (beyond normal resting). Williams is our most explosive player outside of Steve Smith, and he might even be his equal. As such, the coaches need to be creative and find ways to always keep him involved in the offense.

So if Fox is responsible for the sh*tty defense, and we likely won't be losing Fox, our defense is going to suck till he is gone.

He is too stubborn and prideful, not to mention (not)smart enough to change.

I think the players expressions indicate how unhappy they are with the scheme.

It's one thing to be mad at someone for a blown coverage that is their fault, but that looks to me like people who don't even want to be doing that crap scheme.

I bet Peppers isn't the only one who isn't happy with that defense.

It is no wonder why Kris Jenkins left. I wonder how long it will take before we lose another explosive defensive player (Peppers?)
