I worked at a grocery store from 15 to 20. If you bagging groceries above the age of 16-17 you need to set your sights higher. At least be a cashier. Move around to different departments too. Bagboy is one of the least impressive jobs ever, requires little skill. If you are stuck being a bagboy be the best damn bagboy you can, to the point that it's annoying to all the slackers. It's actually a really good way to meet potential employers.
