Or.....

Fly paper...

Then just add some 3 and 1 oil for separation.

and Jarrett will need this to get a separation from the CB

Damn people. We are auditioning WRs, QBs, OL, RBs right now. We played 2 blitz happy teams that we didn't game plan against. There are a lot of communicative things between QB and WR when the D shows something they saw on film. We have been very reactive. We should have sucked. I don't understand what the D has to gain from blitzing in a practice game when they know the Offense is usually behind the D and they didn't watch film and prepare for them. I guess fat-ass, stomach-stapling, potty-mouthed, son-of-a-bigger prick Rex thought HBO would say he was cool. Don't read a lot into it. What are you going to do? Sign Vincent Jackson for $8 million and get his headache and multi-game suspension? Sign a guy with as much talent as Moore, or Lafell, or Jarrett and turn a 4 WR competition into a 5 WR comp?

The average age of our WRs - Smith is 23 years. They will get better. Don't forget, we eliminated all risk from the passing game last year and ran the ball when everyone knew we were going to. THe result? Over 5 yards per carry.

I was thinking glue, like Clifford Franklin in the replacements.

The football's like a one-man cold to Clifford Franklin. Clifford Franklin's the only man catchin' it, Clifford Franklin's the only man comin' down with it.

To the 2008 playoffs and if we didn't have a turnover machine playing QB we could have gotten pretty deep into said playoffs....

yes, but its not a consitant formula that doesn't produce the playoffs every year. Jakes main problem was constantly trying to force the ball to smith (which caused a ton of turnovers). So why ship jake off somewhere else if we are just going to groom someone to do exactly what he did? Jake wouldve been a little better if he had faith in another WR (2003 enough said).

Guess you didnt watch the last 5 games of the season. Moose was actually a factor once there was a change at QB.

I cant beleive we still have Jake slurpers left even after last year.

The truth that we all need to accept is that come Week 1 we will not have a legitimate #2 WR. However, that doesn't mean we can't win games. We've dealt with this problem before and, with our running game and Smitty back on the field we should be ok.

I think LaFell can definitely be the #2 guy eventually, but he needs time to break into that role. Be patient, fans.

Prepare to see a lot of passes the TE's and passes to Dwill/JStew/Sutton/possibly Goodson coming out of the backfield until said 2nd receiver emerges. I really think, if used properly, our RB corps could be a real threat out of the backfield.

I agree completely. Let's hope our tight-ends and running backs can catch well enough to give players like LaFell a bit more time to learn the system and let the game slow down for them.

Yep, Moose was as effective as could be expected last season. People seem to forget he almost had a 1,000-yard season two years ago. I really wish we had held on to him at least for another year.

Yeah and what has that formula gotten us?

Your best chance to win

Fox has always skimped on the QB position

Rodney Peete

Jake was a 3rd string QB when he came in

What good is a talent at #2 if you don't have Manning.Brady,Breese,Rodgers,Romo,Big Ben,Rivers or Brett to get the ball to them
