Antonio Bryant?

Looks like Antonio Bryant might be the odd man out in Cincy. He has apparently been dealing with a knee injury since last season that the Bengals are concerned about. He could be cut outright.

While I think the Panthers brass won't make any moves at any positions before the season starts, Bryant would be a welcome addition to a very young WR corps in Carolina. Pair him with Smith and suddenly the Panthers have a strong 1-2 combo. But his age, past character issues, and price tag will likely keep the Panthers far away from Mr. Bryant.

My guess where he ends up if he is cut? Redskins.

I really don't think they'll cut him. He was just signed a few months ago and the contract they gave him was pretty long term( I think it was more than Chad Johnsons)

ummmm....no thanks, not even touching the character issues.

his lingering knee problems is a bone on bone problem. very likely he will have to have some more work done on it sooner rather than later and until then he is going to be having some problems performing. even if he has work done he will most likely only be able to play for another year (not including this one).

they are supposed to be working on an injury settlement, or at least they should since it looks like he won't be a part of their offense this year and it doesn't look like they are interested in keeping him around. if he does get an injury settlement, i can't imagine any teams wanting to bother with him.

There is no way the Panthers would think of signing Antonio Bryant, if he is released.

Bryant's history of injuries could very well mean his NFL career is over.
