crazy idea for panthers!

I heard Fox was actually considering implementing the 2 QB system on 3rd downs. His patented 3rd and long halfback draw up the middle has become too predictable.

Where did you see that? Carolina Growl? Our best chance is probably if either Fox or Davidson looks at this site for ideas and feedback sometimes. Maybe one of them will see it and like the idea even though it seems like a lot of people don't really like it that much on here. They probably all hated the wildcat at first though as well and now look how good of a play that is!!

In all seriousness, I do think there is potential for a "two-QB" system to work in the NFL. However, one of the two "QB"s needs to be Mike Vick (or similar). Somebody that can run, receive, or throw. So instead of a dual threat running back, you'd have a second qb that is essentially a "triple threat running back". The main function would be that of a running back, but with the ability to make a solid pass a couple times a game.

So are you saying that we should do it with Cantwell and Moore instead of Clausen and Moore? I'm not sure if I agree but I understand your logic...

We might be able to do it with Moore and Clausen then. Clausen has some great runs already in the pre-season. I doubt he's as fast as Mike Vick is but he's probably pretty close once you factor in that Vick is kind of old now and Clausen is a young rookie. Cantwell might work ok to but I think Clausen is probably faster.

whoa guys. didnt mean to start a freaking war. all i wanted was to give a great idea about a sweet play idea i had. yes i did play football in high school and yeah i know its crazy but i do know a little bit about the game! the cantwell thing is kind of a good idea cause he has one of the biggest arms in the league. anyone else have ideas like this? fake outs work really good in the league. (like playaction) also we should do more flea flickers. i remember when it worked good against the packers in a game a couple years ago.
