If you really think about it though it's kind of one of those things that's so dumb that it's really almost genius. No coach would ever be expecting it and it would send them into a panic when they saw both qb's out on the field. They would have nothing in their gameplan to stop it I'm pretty sure. It's kind of like the wildcat, people thought that was pretty dumb to before it started working awesome. To be successful in football you have to think outside the box sometimes and this is a great example of that. It may not work but at least it would catch people off guard.

what if we had a double shotgun with clausen and matt moore back there where they could snap it to either and then they could just bomb it to smitty? it could also work with a bomb to lafell. or send armanti edwards on a wide receiver reverse. i know im such a dork! but it could work!! it would def keep these defenses on their toes. just sayin. thoughts?

One other positive that may come out of it though is that it would get Clausen some valuable game time experience without having to throw him to the wolves. He would probably feel way more comfortable out there with his mentor (Matt Moore) out there with him then if it was just him on the field by himself. Plus it would decrease the number of times he would get sacked probably because the defense would never really know who the snap was going to go to. There is probably some reasons why it's not a good idea to but there are definitely some reasons it's a pretty good idea. At least something to maybe experiment with once or twice and see how the results pan out.

Yeah lets put 2 quarterbacks back there and instead of 5 linemen lets just put a center to snap the ball and just put 8 receivers in- 3TEs and 5 WRs. When the quarterback gets the ball he will just play hot potato with the other QB and while everyone is rushing them, all the receivers will all go downfield and we will just toss it up for grabs. We will have more receivers than they have defensive backs and will be sure to come down with the ball.

How about it guys???? It worked great last night in our pickup football game!!!!
