Did anyone feel our offense sucks after watching GB?

Aaron Rodgers slid down the draft if you recall. Just like Clausen.

Green Bay got lucky with that pick, as did Carolina. And even luckier that Rogers stuck it out through all the Favre drama and improved his game.

or Brian Brohm...the packers took him in the 2nd round when they already had Aaron Rodgers..

Indy's defense gave up 34 points to the Bills last week and 37 against the 49ers two weeks ago. While the Niners are going to be pretty good, let's not pretend that the Bills are going to be anywhere but in the bottom 3 of the league in offense.

I don't think we've seen our offense. There have been a few nice runs, but it's pretty obvious that we're out there just trying different stuff out to see how it works. Look at Moore and Clausen stare down their receivers--it's like they've been told who to throw it to. Look at the pass play on third and two when Williams is in there. Look at the four yard dumps to Jarrett. These aren't things you'll see in the regular season.

Once we actually start playing, you'll see an aggressive power-running attack with a play-action vertical game. The only difference between this year and last is that the quarterback will be more mobile, and with extra time in the pocket we might have a few more check-downs than we've had in the past. That's nothing like what we've seen so far.

So don't ask this question yet. Wait until you see our offense, and then see if it's still appropriate.

Repost but staring down your receivers is necessary for many throws. On mid to deep routs with multiple receivers yes you need to look off but on 3 step drops you are scripting an open man off a break and do not have time to look off if you wanted.

The point here is that neither Matt nor Jimmy forgot how to play quarterback overnight. The issue is protection, poor snapping, and generally poor line play IMHO. They have faced two of the best, if not the best, defenses in the NFL and only seen pressure. The pass protection has been terrible. Sacks are piling up, not interceptions (albeit there have been a handful of bad throws).
