clausen hasn't looked any better against the second and third string than moore has looked against the first string. given this, why the f*ck would we start him?

Funny how things change. After the first 2 games Bradford's stats were 12 for 27 for 81 yards with a 45% completion rating and a 3 yards per attempt average. In his third game he goes 15 of 22 for 187 yards, a 68% completion rate and 8 yards per attempt and everything is fantastic.

For that matter, Thad Lewis, Bradford's backup was 11 of 14 for 120 yards a 78% completion rate and 8 yards an attempt also. Not exactly hard for anyone to throw against NE last night.

Are you kidding me? Clausen has looked much better than Moore! His pocket awareness alone is superior, at this point, than is Moores! Which btw isn't saying much!

Last year all you heard on this board was how we need to start having competition in camp...we get some this year and half this board goes ape poo because we finally have competition! You people don't want competition or change! I don't understand the mentality on this board sometimes...whine and cry about something...get it...whine and cry because it’s here and now there is discussion about it.

If we had Manning or Rogers I could understand...but the way any talk about Clausen is slammed while we have the great Matt Moore at the helm is just ridiculous!

I am really at a loss on how competition and discussion of said competition is such a bad thing on this forum! Oh wait…I forgot, there is no competition!

End of Thread, not to mention the Pats werent really playing. They played a bland defense and they looked completely disinterested with the Rams. You saw a better performance from them when they played the Saints and Falcons. Bradford looks good though, certainly not mad we got Clausen, he'll be very good in time but Bradford is going to be very good also. One thing though, he doesnt have much touch on his passes, especially deep. Clausen is a better deep ball thrower.

When was that? He is averaging 4 yards an attempt. He has thrown 2 or 3 passes over 10 yards I can remember.

all reports from camp said Moore was light years ahead of Clausen and the decision was a no brainer that Moore should be the starter.

Moore has shown what he can do with Steve Smith on the field.

Clausen ain't ready nor do we have a garbage QB playing where we would need to rush things.

Ok, at least you have a good point...now let me ask, out of camp and practice last year, wasn't the reports on Jake that he was light years ahead of Moore? As a matter of fact, Moore wasn't even in the picture during camp...according to reports! On top of that, we have all watched the games and I think everyone agrees neither QB has looked GREAT! But, Clausen has definetly looked better than Moore has...no questions asked. You can say first team vs second team all you like and that fine...thats what I made this thread for...lets see, lets see who's better with the ones...its just a practice game right? I'm not saying crown Clausen, I'm saying lets actually see what happens like the Rams did with Bradford, put Clausen out there with the ones and just see, what can it hurt? The win / loss doesn't count!
