WR Trent Guy

I really want this kid to make the roster. In an interview, Steve Smith was asked which receivers had impressed him and Trent was the first guy he mentioned. I feel like he has a special spark which could also be huge in the return game.

What are your thoughts - think he makes the team?

He has been hurt most of camp so its more then likely he will get cut.

I can't see him making WR, but who knows. We could use a KR/PR though if he can actually catch one in a live game instead of catching 100's in practice and dropping 2 during a game.

Only way he makes it on the 53 man roster is, if two guys go on IR and he has monstrous Victor Cruz type games these next two games.

I don't think that's enough by any means. Smith also praised Moore a little bit last year. And while I'm sure his comments were genuine, there's no way we keep both of them. Hell, a lot of people are saying Moore won't make the roster.

The injury he had really set him back big time.In my opinion,he will be very fortunate if he even makes the practice squad.

Although one has to admit that wide receiver Trent Guy is the guy of underdog player we all root for and hope succeeds.

Put it in perspective - if we continue to suck at pass protection, and the QB's don't have time to make good throws, and instead throw sh*t, then these lower tier WR's won't have their opportunities to shine.
