I got Gore in the first, Steven Jackson in the second, and Ryan Mathews in the fourth.

Wowsers...if I knew Mathews was going to be there in the 4th I would have JUMPED on the WR position.

Thats a great split and would have done that 11 times out of 10

good luck. i was actually going to try to do the same thing and let j-stew play one of my wr/rb positions, but i wasn't able to snag either guy. so fug it. i might just join another league so i can try it and see how it works out.

In my recent draft, I got DWill, Smitty, M. Moore, and Panthers D... the last two are backups, of course, but I think they will be solid for me as bye week fill-ins... I had Matt Ryan, and his bye week we play the Rams (lol @ Meat), and I got the Jets D...

yeah both of my leagues arent drafting until september. i smirk at those people on the yahoo boards who draft the very day the FFL opens and then start posting crap like... I NEED TRADE HELP!!!

i got dwill 1st round peyton 2nd and jstew 3rd.... of course i needed 3 more RB but theres alot of people who overlook, managed to get bradshaw LT can't remember my other.

Funny, I did exactly that this year. DWill first round, JStew second.

It was a live draft, but I couldn't make it that afternoon, so I had set up my pre-draft rankings with both of them near the top, hoping to snag one or the other. Picked seventh in the first round, eighth in the second.

Got Manning in the third round, sadly it was Eli instead of Peyton.

It's not what I was intending to have happen, but maybe it will work. Since my pre-draft rankings were a bit abbreviated, I also snagged for my IDP (way early): Revis, Ashomoga (sp?), Gamble, Peppers and Jon Beason.

Edit to add: I also got our Steve Smith. Hopefully the team will rock with all the Panthers this year, but our bye week is going to send me scrambling.
