Very nice read and I'm really excited to see where they take the series in season 2.

Also I can and can't believe that Kirkman wants to do the Governor story, but I'm not sure how they pull that off on Tv.

Rumor was that Merle could become that character (per the TV Guide article).

I could see a writer wanting to add some more backstory to a favored character though.

Nah I wouldn't want to see Merle become the Governor because I don't think Merle is a sickfug nutjob like that. Its hard to imagine that degrade without seeing it. You're talking about Caligula levels of rulership, something I don't see Merle embracing.

But I definitely see why people would suspect Merle as the Governor.

Spoiler: For one thing Merle wouldn't be keeping his zombie daughter as a pet since he doesn't appear to have a daughter.

The Governor will blow your mind for sure. The things he's done and is capable of doing.. there is no one else like that on TV.

Not sure it'll wind up being a 10 month break. The ratings they got may spur them to move a tad more quickly.

It wasn't intentional.

He wandered onto the set after one of his typical nights out. The crew just assumed he was one of the zombies and kept filming.

The Walking Dead finale got the highest ratings EVER for a drama on basic cable... I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to bring it back in the summer and air it after Mad Men...that would be an awesome two hours of drama.

Yea that would be an awesome line up...I hope True Blood gets better this next season though. Season 3 was pretty meh for me.
