AMC's "The Walking Dead"

It's not just about fighting zombies. That would play itself out pretty quickly.

The whole subtext of any "zombie apocalypse" is the question of how people would behave if there were no longer any rules of "polite society".

Essentially, it's more about life in anarchy than zombies. And that situation has loads of possibilities.

Kinda meh for a finale.. Decent, regardless of their chances they want to survive. Im glad my speculation on Andrea being infected was wrong. Still dont understand why they didnt grab some ammo from the soldiers/ bunkers around the CDC.. Speak your piece and put this thread away until next October...

Some Spoilers... don't read if you haven't seen #6.

I'm with J... it was just OK. I thought they'd give a little more away than they did, no real new info. At least they showed a little more about prior to the infection and that Shane really did try and help Rick. He's not such a bad guy. I wish they would have done a little more about prior to the infection and/or during it.

I wonder what Jennings whispered to Rick... it was obvious the whole time he knew more than he was telling. I can totally get him giving up and just wanting to die... his wife is gone and there's really not much to look forward to.

Definitely a lot of directions that they could go with the show. I just wish it wasn't gonna be so long for them to continue it...

i like the way the show will guide you down a path only to change your outlook. in the teaser from last weeks show for this week, i was all off base when i saw the military dudes shooting people. I thought that some got into the CDC when it was a smart flash back of Shane.

This show does a great job of playing off your assumptions and biases. You hate the red neck guy then see Rick and others make a case to go get Merle. You see the gang and think one thing and then they are helping old folks.

You meet the Doc at the CDC and then kinda don't like him because of his bleak, yet understandable outlook and his at first unwillingness to open the hatch.

I too am curious what he said to Rick.
