AMC's "The Walking Dead"

It's too bad Showtime or HBO didn't decide to make a zombie miniseries, they could probably do a bit better given their higher budgets.

Showtime did good with their Sleeper Cell. HBO pissed me off long time ago when they canceled Deadwood and I still refuse to subscribe. I have my own way of getting their shows for free so screw them.

I'm glad AMC is doing it. HBO is too dumb to land a good show these days. They did pass on Mad Men as well

Sneak peek at next weeks's final episode...

So, my thinkin is right there with Goosfraba..They're going to try to go back and get Jim for his newly turned brain. But he wont be under the tree anymore and will come out and attack them.. I think Im going to have to check out that Zombie Survival Guide and WWZ, the latter of is being made into a movie with Brad Pitt...

What happens to Andrea in teh comic? Not too hard to figure out what happens to her from the preview...

Will the geeks get inside the CDC?

Add Day by Day Armegeddon (books 1 and 2) as well

Yes, that looks very good, and should help make up for losing Spartacus.:(

From what I've seen Spartacus isn't lost. They are doing a pre-quel rather than a second season, and then could possibly move on from there depending on Andy Whitfields cancer??

First, the whole last episode and previews are completely not in the comics. In the comics, that's the last you see of Jim.

Second, Andrea should NOT die. Actually, she learns to shoot better and ends up becoming a real sharpshooter and overall badass. Literally.

Third, this show IS getting repetitive, but the sad thing is, it shouldn't be. If they follow the comics, there would be crazy stuff and surprises all around. I don't get why you need to change it up. Maybe now that they have a 2nd season, and more money (because I think they used all their money on the first episode) it'll be much better next year. Acting is still really sketchy, and that's usually something you don't have to worry about with AMC.

Anyway, Boardwalk Empire is delivering HARD this year. Show is awesome.

Some of the actors are really good. The guy that plays Rick is British for example. The actor playing Dale is good too. Some of them are wooden, but those characters aren't really going to last long anyway, and the rest haven't had their 15 minutes of fame yet, like Carol.

Kirkman has said Walking Dead will stray from the comics a good bit, but they'll always end up back on path. There are certain story arcs they absolutely cannot leave out.

I don't really like this whole CDC mess myself. I'd rather not know anything about what caused it or why, because that's not what the story is about. Nobody is going to be fixing this poo, and its not going to be a never ending quest for a cure.

Yeah, that is freaky how british actors pull off the accent thing... no way I could talk for an extended period in another accent... well, I could probably do an extended indian accent.

I don't have a problem with the acting, I think it's been fine... as I've said, some of the writing (specifically around the sisters) got a little stale at points, which may be some due to the budget issues, and them dragging certain things out to save money.

Hugh Laurie is another great example of a British actor who does an incredible "American" accent.
