While I agree...read "World War Z" and you could see where they'd be pretty ineffective for sustained battle.

Well, in real life a zombie outbreak would be put down pretty quickly unless the virus went airborne or it was an extremely fast acting virus like in the 28 days series. Otherwise, it would be defeated pretty quickly by the military or even civillians.

Even if the majority of people were zombified, it wouldnt last more than a year of two. The bad thing about dead flesh is that it rots - extremely quickly. Especially when exposed to the elements. Not to mention predation, as a slow moving rotting corpse is a ringing dinner bell for a lot of animals.

Government wouldn't know what it was to start.

Wouldn't know to shoot them in the head.

Zombies decay at a slower rate.

Nercotic flesh is poision and most animals are spooked by and avoid zombies.
