AMC's "The Walking Dead"

Not gonna lie, they do such a good job with it all the show makes me actually nevervouse sometimes.

Same here. I'm not scared, really, but after watching zombie films or playing zombie-related games (Resident Evil 4 comes to mind) I'm very apprehensive outside. :P

Completely stupid thing to do. Why not just cut that 1/4" threaded rod. It was an affront to my intelligence.

I'm sure that will be explained. There are a lot of little plot holes in this series, but I just kind of roll with it. I don't know why the hell he didn't try to get the hacksaw sooner. If I'm cuffed to a pipe, I'm going to immediately start looking for a way out -- well before I start to hallucinate and relive past memories.

So...everyone think we'll see the dude missing the hand as a zombie or normal.

He'll be back -- he's a perfect villain, and a show like this thrives on the type of conflict he can provide.

Oh I feel he'll be back, but let's go back to the wife of the black dude/son. Remember how she was the only zombie to go on the porch and attempt to open the door? Hinting there may be a small bit of memory retention despite their state. Couldn't you see a scene where they're overrun and the racist dude targets the key dropper over another person using the hate that's still deep in his mind.

I know...reading too much into it, because he'll just be a regular one-armed ahole.

Hopefully they'll have season 2 out soon, but it'll probably be a year. Breaking Bad was only like 7 episodes the first season then the 2nd came out exactly a year later.

AMC is just smart, they make 6-7 and see if people like it before they invest more money. That's better than NBC and them canceling shows after 2 airings.

AMC's next show, "The Killing" looks to be great too. They are quickly becoming one of the best places for TV, like FX did. Doing shows no other network would touch and making them a success.

Yeah, TVguide and Direct TV has "Rubicon" as the number one show to save. Was a very good show nobody seemed to watch. I liked it because it was a more realistic spy show...as far as a TV or movie can be. Not your regular run and gun shoot'em up spy story, but a thinking show, so I hope it comes back.

Rubicon was great. People that stuck with it past 4-5 episodes were rewarded, because the show took off and got really, really better.

I liked it cause it was different. It was slower, but yeah like you said, it felt more like how things would be in intelligence.

You beat me to it Galv, I waited until I watched the episode form Sunday last night...

It was very stupid to cut off his hand. The 1/2" all-thread or the beam clamp that attached it to the angleiron would have much, much easier way to get out. If I drop a bunch of trade lingo, will yous think i know what Im talkin about?

If it goes the way yous think, will the brother also turn on Rick & Co? On next weeks preview they showed the crew meeting up with what looked like some thugass gangstas.. Are they going to try to take the bag of guns? When will we see the dude from Jericho? Will the other Boondock Saint make an appearance? Who here, in that situation, would leave your wife & kid after finding them? Not this guy...

I'll reply one more time to this thread then I have to stay away for awhile...

Merle is a stupid guy, he's going to do stupid things; but he's also mean. Speaking of cutting through the all-thread or beam clamp, why not just cut through the handcuff links. They're not exactly logging chains. I want to know the story of the vatos...why would you stay in a zombie-infested city?? I have to admit, that the guilt would be eating me up, thinking about a human being stuck out on the roof of a building; that being said, if I knew he had stupidly cut off his own hand to get free, I wouldn't have gone back looking for him...

Another good thing about quality Sunday night shows is that it makes Mondays not suck so much, cause I can watch them at lunch on Monday :)
