AMC's "The Walking Dead"

I watched the 1st episode online and wasn't impressed. It followed just about every formula used in every zombie movie I've seen with cardboard characters. But the 2nd episode was way better than the 1st. The Charger scenes were awesome. Gutting the dead zombie made me glad I wasn't watching at dinnertime.

I dunno, it looked way too far away, plus he would have to break through a door that was padlocked with a chain on the other side...

If you look close, I dont think he actually locked it. He did chain it, and put a lock on, just didnt close the lock. But dude shouldve given him the hacksaw when he was bailing...It'll be interesting to see.

GRWatcher has a point, they have done just about all the stuff we've seen in most other zombie flicks. But this still has at least 3 more hours to go. What now?

Its time to up the ante, pull from the graphic novel and make it what Walking Dead is really about.... Characters and Character interation... yes, the novel has Zombies, but it's really about how the group deals with the situations they are put in. How they deal with losing close friends or new friends that have come to mean a lot.

This. Now that the story is set up and out of the way, the real excruciating character development and interaction can begin...
