I work part time at HD and we settled this last night. Easy to carry. Easy to use. You have mobility and sufficient weaponry to kill anyone both up close and at a distance. The claw hammer would be especially useful.

Claws of any sort are bad. Anything that hooks...is bad when you're talking melee weapon. Like a crowbar...it hooks into the skull and by the time you've gotten it dislodged out of the head you're a happy meal.

A spike would be better.

Plastic bags, Amonia & Bleach!

Put amonia in one bag, Bleach in the other and arrange traps. Creates Mustard gas, just don't be in the area. Gas will either burn their lungs or burn their skin. Either way they will die!

Or pour one on the floor and drop a trash bag full of the other one. Make sure you are out in the garden area when it goes off. It will kill everyone in the store!

I was going to suggest the same thing. Surely there's plenty of nasty gases, acids and chemicals to kill off large amounts of people all at once.

Home Depot doesn't have gas masks, but they do have the particulate respirators that would probably be okay if you were careful.

I would drive the biggest lawn tractor into the first row of shelves knocking them all over like dominos killing most. I would then take an axe to finish off the stragglers, Also a metal garbage can lid as a shield to block with.

Get the new Paslode framing nailer. The box of black-tipped nails include a fuel cell for the gun. It's a great nailer. I have one and love it.
