Roster spot in jeopardy for Dolphins' White

Makes sense... Ronnie Brown and Ricky WIlliams ran the wildcat just as well, if not better than White. That was really his only purpose on the team.

perfectly said.

Pat White was drafted as that "pass" option the wildcat lacked......too bad he couldnt throw as accurately as originally thought......Ronnie Brown brought much more production...

And when you are behind henne, pennington, thigpen.....there is no spot on the 53 man roster for a 2nd string wildcat QB

He is a fantastic person, hope he gets picked up and is successful, unfortunately, it was a HUGE wasted 2nd round pick that i cringe thinking about.....but whats done is done. good luck to him.

I really thought he'd progress more as a passer with pro level coaching :(

Also hope he catches on somewhere. Doubt it'll be Carolina but I'd be happy if it were (not expecting it, though).

He may need to back off on that refusal to switch positions if he wants to stick. Perhaps if he bides his time (ala Seneca Wallace) and goes to a place with a good teacher he'll get his chance down the road. If not, you can do a lot worse than being a pro wide receiver.

He is a project I never hid that but I still think he can succeed he just needs to sit on the sidelines for another two years while he is learning.

But he has to be willing to do that, and indications are he may not be. If that's true, he may short circuit his career, Eric Crouch style.
