Is this voyeurism?

A co-worker of mine at IBM had a picture stolen ouf of a frame on his desk of he and his wife on vacation in the islands. (She had on a skimpy yellow bikini.) I actually dated her a few years later after they broke up. She had a smokin' body! (She was early 40's and had a body that any 20 yo would be proud to have!) They assumed it was someone off the cleaning crew, but never did find out who did it. (No, it wasn't me!)

The during the "surplusing" (Layoffs) at IBM back in the early-mid 90's I had to go into a co-workers desk that had been 'surplused". (My desk key opened just about any Steelcase desk that IBM had.) I found about 40 pictures of his current wife wearing not more than a grin and a garden hose! (They were taken during a VERY hot Summer day!) :o I ah, may still have them . We (My fellow engineers aind I) always felt they were the Holy Grail of IBM Charlotte. LOL

There used to be these Photohuts in parking lots all over Charlotte and other towns. You could drop off your film and pick it up a couple of days later. (For thoese who remember them, they looked like a giant camera that you drove up to.) This was before 1 hour photo at Wally World, or the drug stores. I became friends with 2 stoners who ran the Photohut at Eastway and Central. (They would open the little window and the smoke would roll out of it! LOL :sifone:) Photohut's policy was they didn't develope porno. (One or two wasn't a big deal.) These guys would always order reprints of any naked Girls. I got to be friends with them and they would order me reprints as well. Everytime I dropped off film for them to send to Kodak, they would hand me a stack of prints! (I quit going in and talking with them because it always made me high!)

30 years in photography and I would take a lot of shots of "Entertainers" from Gentlemen Clubs in the area. Now you can understand why these 2 guys loved to see me show up. LOL

You should probably rephrase that last sentence. As for the story that started this thread....I can't believe he got arrested. The guy is given a phone and told to repair and there's a naked pic on the phone. If you hire a lawnboy to mow your yard and then have your wife stand naked in front of an open window, are you going to arrest him for staring?

Arrested for rubbing some hot sticky "Sun tan lotion" on her?

Well, I was going to do that, but I got it all on my hands instead.

It depends on if she is intentionally standing in front of the window so that people can see. If she is merely walking by, has no knowledge that anyone can see her, or should reasonably believe that no one can see her (privacy - back yard with a fence).

Oh, did I take that way too seriously? :P

He shouldn't have been fired for looking at it, but emailing it to yourself... that's across the line.

Yeah, I suppose. Who's the bigger dumbass, the wife for trusting this husband, the husband for leaving it on his phone and giving it to somebody to repair, or the repairman for sending it to himself without covering his tracks? Tough call.
