Here are the attempts/completions for the receivers through the first two games. Put the names with the numbers:

1. 2/9 22% completion

2. 4/7 57% completion

3. 1/6 16% completion

4. 2/8 25% completion

And the answer NONE is not allowed!

Whomever has the longest yards per completion.

that'd be kenny moore.

I think right now the 3 front runners have to be Moore,Jarrett and Lafell...

I honestly dont know who I'd pick at this point..

also Edwards has as many receptions as Jarrett right now (4) and 8 more yards to show for it.

fug this thread, fug those statistics, fug all these fake ass #4 recievers fighting to be #2, fug McDonalds, fug Walmart, fug Chicago, Idaho, Ohio, and all the other states in the midwest (especially Wisconsin). fug their cheese, fug dairy all together (makes me gassy), fug Bin Laden, fug you communist tree huggin' p.e.t.a. jerkoffs (animals are for eating), fug Lebron James, fug the NBA, fug the MLB, fug every sport that ain't football, fug soccer twice for trying to be football, rugby's cool, but fug their jerseys.

With that being said. LaFell will start. If not it will be Jarrett then LaFell.

Now please no more "Who's gonna be our #2" threads. Just hop into one of the 50 other before hitting the new thread button.

Maybe we should just have stickies for QB, receiver, RB's, defense, etc and just constantly post there. F*ck this starting new threads crap. After all, everything's pretty much already been asked a one time or another here already. Just find the appropriate thread and post there. That way we can have threads 5, 6 even 700 pages long.

And for what it's worth, LeFall has caught all of 1 pass out of 7 attempts (although he has plenty of passes hit his hands). So explain to me why he should start. Or maybe I should just go look up the answer in one of the 50 other threads. I am sure it has already been addressed ad nauseum by now!

    • I think they are holding back to see what they have in the young guys, but I think it's a near certainty at some point they will bring someone else in. Right now (assuming we keep 5 CBs which is normal), the top 5 IMO are: 1) Jaycee Horn 2) Mike Jackson 3) Chau Smith-Wade 4) Shemar Bartholomew  5) Akayleb Evans   Obviously Jaycee is the alpha in that room and paid as such. Need him to stay healthy and continue to play at a Pro-Bowl level. Mike Jack did pretty well all things considered last year, and they gave him lower-level starter money. Fair deal for both sides.  Smith-Wade showed some promise as a slot CB. I think low-key he's a lock for the team. Different size and skill set than the other CBs. Shemar Bartholomew was the most sought after waiver claim last preseason. Was 5th CB most and inactive most of last year. Had a few defensive and ST snaps. Nothing of note good or bad but too small a sample size to make any judgment. Akayleb Evans was a 2022 4th Rounder for the Vikings. Has started 19 games (including Week 18 for the Panthers) in his career and played in 43. Was pretty good in 2023 before getting injured and falling down the depth chart last year. There's some other guys on the outside looking in, but until they show more in training camp I dont see anyway they make the 53. And only Jaycee, Mike Jack, and Smith-Wade are locks to make this roster IMO.
    • Was just reading the Ask the Old Guy story on the team's website and was shocked to see that only two 2nd Rounders have signed so far, 30 of them haven't. That isn't normal, the Texans really screwed things up for the rest of the league, no other explanation that I can think of for 30 of the 32 picks to still be unsigned at this point.
    • They need to address CB before season starts. This is not going to cut it.
