The more I think about it. I'm not really surprised we are not scoring LOTS of points in the preseason.

Lots of "NEW" on Offense, with plays called to evaluate what we have. (not the same as trying to win.)

I'd agree with you if it were just a preseason thing. But is seems to be more of a John Fox thing, so I don't see it going away during the regular season.

However, I do think we would run the ball more than 21 times compared to 39 passing attempts. I really think Fox was more into trying to find out about the WR's then actually trying to win a preseason game. It may not be great to watch for us fans but makes a lot of in game practice for those trying to make this team.

Not sure, but I think it exposed some of the O-line issues.

DON'T Think that Ryan is not playing it up for the HARD KNOCKS cameras. He was sending 8 on third and long. Now, when you know the O didn't gameplan your D, what are you learning from that? We were getting pressure with 4. When we tried to run the ball, we did pretty successfully with DW. But we wanted to work the passing offense. If Ryan really wanted to see his D improve and evaluate players, then he shouldn't send the house every play. He wasted both teams' time.
