Never called for heads to roll. Just stated my opinion

I can see where this is going and with the post counts most of you have In such short periods of time I can see this is your profession! I have a life outside of the internet and could care less at this point. Ill cower away from my computer so your forum ego can grow bigger for the next NEWB!

It has nothing to do with post count or Rep. Rather, it has everything to do with pie. And that's the Zod's honest truth.

And I wasn't referring to YOU specifically calling for heads to roll, but the myriad of other posts/threads started within the last couple hours that are to that effect.

A year round profession as I stated. Everyday of the year

I was VERY against the Clausen pick in the draft. Since then he has impressed me quite a bit. So much in fact that I think in an emergency he could be a serviceable back up as a rookie. Believe it or not that is saying a lot. People who didn't go to training camp and have seen very little of Clausen playing in the NFL environment, i.e. three quarters of preseason against back up defenses and think he should start,, are foolish nutswingers. I think Jimmy has all the tools to be a great quarterback and lead us to a dynasty given proper time to develop. But you don't just throw a rookie to the sharks if you have a guy like Moore who is a proven winner in the NFL. Being thrown in too soon has ruined quite a few young quarterbacks that had tons of potential. They too often develop bad habits and lose confidence.

The only thing I disagree with here is the "Moore is a proven winner" line. Again, if Jimmy Clausen was akin to Tom Brady sitting behind Drew Bledsoe or some other established QB that had taken their team to the playoffs, I would tend to agree with you. But Moore is just another young quarterback who's resume entails getting cut by the Cowboys and then winning a few meaningless games late last year for the Panthers. That said, a win is a win.. which is why I think his relative experience makes him the clear frontrunner.. for now.
