The Good The Bad and The Ugly: Jets Edition

The d-line looks great. I really haven't seen any WR set themselves apart. Jarrett looks good but he wasn't in the game all that much. LaFell just has bad hands. He has all the tools but looks the part of Braylon Edwards JR. Armanti has no business returning punts in the NFL but is looking better and better as a WR. He actually reminds me a bit of Dwill in his rookie year; shows some quicks and agility but needs to beef up a bit. Last but not least; Goodson should be a WR he has too much talent to be our 4th string RB. He has great hands and good yac. Witch is exactly what we have been searching for the past few years. I don't know why this hasn't happened.

The O-line play was ugly. Bad doesn't cut it. Neither QB had time to set their feet.

Clausen avoided at least three sure sacks. Plus the centre put the ball on the ground, again. Absolutely woeful.

The only reason I didn't put the O-Line under ugly is because the running game had some decent lanes throughout the night. I think it's safe to say the O-Line really has work to do throughout the rest of the preseason though.

wasn't about Jarrett being impressive (or not), and even if he was its preseason. But he did what he need to do when called upon tonight, which he has been doing this offseason, which is good. its only a matter of if it will translate into the regular season or not. and its too early to tell

Thank you, you obviously understand what we are lacking in a number two WR.

I for the life of me don't understand why this hasn't happened yet....

Exactly, no q.b. in the nfl could look good under these circumstances.

Jarrett's 3 catches for 17 yards means we've found our #2.

Moore's 26 yards must make him a #1.

People worry about numbers too much. The guy was only thrown to four times on the night and one resulted in a PI penalty. So as I have already said this team needs a guy who can be counted on to make the catch everytime on a tough third and six. Thats exactly what Jarrett can do.
