Which position to address...

If any, which position do you guys think the Panthers need to or should address after the preseason ends and a lot of players are out on the open market?

I want to believe that our offense is just fine, maybe one Offensive Lineman for depth. Most of my concern falls on the defensive side of the ball... maybe a Safety, and another Defensive Lineman for depth, should Louis Leonard die before the start of the regular season (that's a joke, kind of a bad one, but still a joke)...

I know a lot of people are gonna say WR, but my intention of this thread is not to focus on the WR position because there's a million of those threads... so let's focus on something else other than WR shall we???

Reverse cowboy is okay if you don't really want to see her face. Same with doggie, only difference is you can set up an ashtray and a beer with doggie. Not sure if I've ever preferred one over the other...

I would have to say DB's. I just dont see alot of depth behind our top 5. Im not sold on CJ Wilson either.

Also I think we should always be on the look out for quality O linemen.

I would be satisfied with a big space eating backup defensive tackle in case of an injury at that position.

My guess is the Panthers will be scanning the wavier wire after cutdown trying to solidify that position.

DT definitely. Leonard has not been looking good in the preseason and when he looked good I didn't think that was all that great to begin with. #2 would be weakside LB. This way Beason could play his comfort position.

Don't really see the DB suggestion. Gamble and Marshall are two of the better DB's in the league and Captain has been doing great in the nickel package. Add Wilson to the mix and I think we are fine.

DB could also mean safety. Safeties and Corners are all considered defensive backs, just fyi. And we do need more depth at the safety position. I'm not sold on Sherrod Martin just yet, and he didn't even play tonight. I like that rookie, Pugh, though. He's got great down-field vision, hittin' running backs in the backfield like Harris.

Still not convinced. Thats the only reason Jarrett stays for now, because nobody else is stepping up. I'd only keep Smith, Jarrett, LaFell, Wright so far. I'd cut the rest and maybe keep Gettis and sign a free agent. We need a Ricky Proehl. Moose was that guy.

I like Kenny Moore A lot, but he doesn't seem to do well under pressure against elite competition, he chokes.
