Jets' Jenkins in familiar territory in Carolina

i think since kris has had time away from charlotte he's come to the reality that it's not as bad as he might have thought, as far as playing goes when he is healthy not many people cause the type of havock he can, very few players have his size&speed to go along with it.

I always liked Jenks when he was here. As others have said, he was a force to be reckoned with when he was healthy.

If he didn't like it here, he's got reason not to. He battled alcoholism and his weight issues among a few injuries... so probably not his best days here. And memories from a place in his life he'd never like to say again. But since he's talking about retiring here, perhaps he's seen a change of heart. Maybe the big city life ain't all it's cracked up to be for him.

Whatever the case, he's gonna get his a$$ whooped tonight :)

I liked Jenkins. When he wanted to make a statement and was motivated, he was virtually unstoppable. The problem was that he couldn't sustain it for 10 or 20 plays at a time. With all that size and bulk he would get tired and was only good for 2 or 3 plays in a row. But there was no one better at beating a double team or "outquicking" a tackle. I liked him as a 3 technique also but would probably have him at the 0 like the Jets do.

It will be an interesting matchup with Kalil and either Wharton or Bernadeau on Jenkins. I hope that Williams can find running lanes but Jenkins is sure a big dude and disruptive in the middle.
