Colin Cowherd was talking about this all week. He was bitching up a storm about PSLs, saying that they are a scam to fans, and that he has always been able to get tickets on game day any time he wanted to go...often better than his friend's season tickets.

Remember....those PSL owners are the reason we have a stadium and got a team. Without them, we would still be satellite fans for the Falcons or the Redskins.

Stadiums were built long before the concept of the PSL was introduced to the NFL. Sports team owners are billionaires, big cat included. They can handle it, they just choose to let the public foot some of the bill for them. For a long time, this was done through taxes, mostly on things like car rentals and hotels.

The NFL is #1, so they can get away with it for now. They need to be careful, however, because the home experience is now better for watching the game. It's not a better atmosphere...well in most stadiums...but for purely watching the game, HD bigscreens are better than going to a game. People can only get screwed for so long before they jump ship. $2000 will buy a lot of chicken wings.
