I just see a lot of people bitching "If we still had Peppers" Is these holding calls stay consistent, and wonder if they do call them all... how many Sacks will he have?

And to the topic, it's going to hurt all teams the same, but the silver lining for us is that running teams won't be in the situation as often.

If the NFL sees that this is hurting offenses they will make adjustments. In the meantime, Gross needs to learn some lessons from his first game.

It's going to be an interesting season to say the least. I don't think you'll see that big of a difference, but there will be extra holding penalties for sure. The Panthers won't hurt so much from this though as someone stated before, we're a running team. Although, I have this crazy feeling that half of Jordan Gross' skills come from holding on the inside of a players jersey so the refs don't catch it, but now he won't be able to do that.

Without a doubt offensive holding will be caled more often. Two sets of eyes are now on the offensive line. I also think it'll be across the entire line. I don't see how the interior of the line is going to get away with holding.

Refs are going to continue being inconsistent. There still will be obvious holding that doesn't get called.

I do think that they better learn the difference between offensive holding and a defensive take down.
