Pep, Jake: Distant Memories...Already

you have over 1,000 posts and you have the audacity to bring up ex panthers, what in the world is wrong with you. this is complete sarcasm by the way.

i think its a shame two of the panthers all time greats are treated like curse words on this board. be prepared for this thread to be moved by THE Zod in 5. 4.3.2.1......

THE Zod may be more enlightened amd intelligent than many give him credit for. I'd be surprised if this were moved, but you never know.

Not really all that surprising to me. We've got some potential talent at both positions that look promising.

I think most true Panther's fans are ready to just move on and let someone else who is hungry and capable step up and win some football games for us.

I could be wrong, but I believe that even if the team did not have any talent or promise at all---with unmotivated, incapable players---that many fans (myself included) would feel the exact same way as we do in the middle of all this "sunshine".

its still a shame i read other boards religiously and there are threads about ex players. its ok to talk and respect players who were a major part of this franchises history.

You can talk about them but if it is how they are doing in Chicago or Cleveland then it is irrelevant about the Panthers.

Yeah, Double B, irony abounds. It is ironic that we change so quickly after fervent fanaticism of certain players/personalities, and then the mere mention of them evokes disdain after they change their stripes. It is also ironic that people fail to move on, stuck in the past, though they are forced to progress. It is also ironic that a few miss the point of a thread entirely, arguing against a point, but missing the point the whole time---a point upon which they actually agree with (though they argue against it). But, then again, maybe that's not irony. I also find it ironic that people fail to see the beauty of looking at things from another perspective when that's really what we need amidst the this-QB-is-better-than-that-QB threads, and the this-rookie-ain't-worth-it threads.

I'll rep you for that eventhough I didn't understand it. I am what panthro calls a dumb terrorist saltman.

I didn't mean anything by my comment. I just thought it was ironic that you chose to talk about players that you claim to have forgotten about. ;)

I personally like talking about Delhomme, Peppers and Harris -- but it seems by Zod's recent "survey" most would rather do so in the NFL Football Central forum.
