I think a roast is in order.

Let's host a roast in which everyone just let's these band kids have it. For just $5 or $10 a piece, they can sling as many insults at them as they want.

Thank you for agreeing to support the students of the James B Hunt High School Band.

Your contributions are vital. The funds raised support and supplement the classroom education that our students receive. The band program needs new instruments, payment of competition fees, and a cargo trailer to transport instruments for competitions. The students are also hoping to take a trip, a trip that many would not have the opportunity to take otherwise. The money we raise this year will go towards this effort, with the hope that next year we will be able to continue to grow into a (high school marching band that all of James B Hunt High School may be proud of. I'm sure we all have our own memories of our high school days. One such memory of mine that I think of as I type this is memories of halftime at Friday night football games. A Friday night halftime show is not a show without a marching band. With your support and efforts, we will ensure that our children, students and school supporters will have the same type of memories when they grow older. Perhaps one day one of these high school band players will find himself or herself typing up a very similar message reaching out for support of this very American tradition.
